Progress mainly uses the cognitive behavioural therapy approach but can also use schema or mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. CBT involves looking at how our thinking and behavioural patterns have formed, how these contribute to our distress and working out ways to change these patterns, overcoming our distress. In session 1 you will define your personal goals and we can work together to make the changes you want to see. We will go on your journey the way that works for you.
To self-refer all you need to do is fill in a referral form which you can download here. Then email it to the therapist you want to see (find out about us here). We then send you over a contract which defines how the service works and you are ready to go.

We can accept payment by cash (in-person), bank transfer or card. After referral you will get sent the details for bank transfers. For card, you can use the card machine in-person or pay in our online store. Our payment partner charges a 1.7% transaction fee using the card reader or 2.5% on the online store (60-80p for a £30 session). Clients who do not want to pay this can use the cash and bank transfer options which have no transaction fee.
