Progress is getting busier all the time. Between a growing internal client base, more external service referrals and Robert’s first intake of clinical supervisees we are helping more clients and now therapists than ever. But this needs planning to ensure that people are seen as often as they need. As such some changes are being made-
Firstly, I will be reducing my work in schools from 3 days per week to 2. The school service is an amazing project that makes a world of difference to East Ayrshire’s young people. But that service has built a big, amazing staff team now and Progress is now too large to be managed in only 2 days per week. Once this change happens in a few weeks I will be available to book on Wednesdays from 9-5 on top of my current times.
There are smaller changes being made too. I will occasionally be doing 1 or 2 Sunday sessions toward the end of a month. These will mostly be used for my new clinical supervisees who only need to be seen monthly. This will prevent them using client slots and making it hard for you to book. If there are any Sunday slots available after that I will allow clients to use these too. Finally, the last of the old in-house visits will end in the next few weeks, reducing my travel time which I will use to open up more videocall or in-person appointments at the office.
One temporary service change is that I will pause taking new private clients for a month to ensure current clients can get appointments. Arlene remains on hand if prospective clients want to be seen quickly.
I am really excited about the services rapid development but it will not be at the expense of the important client work. If you have any questions around booking feel free to get in touch.
